Examination And Promotion Rules
  1. Promotion depends on the child's performance throughout the year in the Unit Tests and in the two terminal examinations and not merely on marks scored in the final examination.
  2. Reports on general progress must be collected by parents during the year. These should be studied carefully and returned to the Class Teacher signed by the parent or guardian.
  3. Parents Signatures :

    Parents are requested to use this specimen signature when signing the Report Card.
  4. The Unit Test papers should be signed and returned to the Class Teacher. The answer scripts of Half Yearly Examination papers will be shown to the students and taken back after evaluation. Class X's and Class XII (ISC) selection papers will also be shown to the students.
  5. For students who are absent for the Unit Test and Terminal examination(Classes V to XII), no provision can be made for supplementary tests.
  6. Parents or guardians must sign the Report Card when so requested and return it on the following working day. A child found with an unsigned report may not be admitted to the class.
  7. No pupil will be allowed to sit for the final examination if the attendance during the year is below 80%.
  8. The decision of the school authority with regard to promotion is final.
